An astute financial executive with over 40 years’ experience with family-owned entrepreneurs, Mike provides direction and oversight to the company’s corporate finance and accounting functions. He focuses on staff development, continuous improvement, enabling automation and innovation while exercising uncompromised integrity, strategic thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. At the center of Mike’s effort is delivering high levels of return on investment across the organization.
Prior to his career at Network, Mike developed his finance expertise through careers with two family-owned manufacturer/wholesalers and as an audit manager/business consultant with Arthur Andersen’s Enterprise Group focused on servicing family-owned businesses and emerging companies.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

What are your professional drivers?
Network provides a perfect career for me. I love working with our Member Distributors and helping solve complex problems and processes. The nature of our business gives me the opportunity to leverage my strengths each and every day. In addition, Network consists of great people, both in our associates and at our constituents, all working collaboratively to drive the greatest value for all. This great alignment, has been a key contributor to our success and positions us to continue this into the foreseeable future.
Share a professional accomplishment of which you are particularly proud.
Network affords me the opportunity to do creative and impactful things and I am most grateful for these. I was nominated and became one of four finalists for the Financial Executives International 2014 Chicago CFO of the Year for Large Private Companies. Even though the award went to another very worthy finalist, the recognition I received was awesome.
Who are you outside of work?
I most enjoy spending time with my wife Kelly of 37+ years, either together or with family and friends. We are both avid golfers and we enjoy travel, comedy, music, wine and cooking…mostly me on the cooking.
